Outreach: An easy way to help the parish with outreach is to ‘load’ a grocery gift card, such as the Thrifty Foods Smile Card, with $10 - $25. Just drop them by the office for distribution there. Thanks!

Meditation: Meditation Thursday, 7 pm at St. Michael's, 4733 West Saanich Road.
Africa Night: Thursday, May 17 is our African evening, from 5 to 7 pm. Join us for slide presentation, speakers and refreshments. All welcome to attend,

Clergy Office Hours: The Rev.Chris Parsons has office hours at St David's on Monday mornings; The Rev. Scott McLeod has office hours at St Peter's on Monday mornings; The Rev. Jack Rose, interim priest-in-charge in of St, Michael's has office hours Tuesday afternoons and Wednesday morning.
Saturday Soup for the Soul: Many thanks to all who helped make April 28th such a success. We had 14 people stop by for a bowl of soup. Our next soup Saturday is May 26th. The sign up sheet will be coming out soon. Please keep this in your prayers.
IN THE REGION
Ascension Day at the Cathedral: Plan to attend on Thursday, May 17 for Hymns of Praise for Ascension Day (HOPFAD) 2012. All hymns will be chosen from Common Praise, so that participants can come with their own hymnal in hand. The event begins with rehearsal at 4 pm in the Cathedral Nave, Tea in the Chapter Room, and the hymn sing at 5 pm. Please mark your calendar now and plan to attend. Let’s sing our hearts out with Songs of Praise!
Help Wanted: Mount Douglas Seniors Housing Society, which is associated with the Diocese, is looking for volunteer Board Members.
